We built something that changed how people wash their cars

“I believe that every car wash in our network – and even beyond – will be fully connected, smart, and digital. That customers will experience Tvätta as the most seamless, sustainable, and enjoyable wash experience in Sweden. About the project

We started this project around 2018. It took quite some time to get going, but we felt we really needed a new business system, since we didn’t have anything that worked well for us at that time. Our partner in car washes, Prowash, was the one we started the project with, and they recommended Superoperator. That’s how our then business developer at the time, and our CEO got in touch with Superoperator. We also had a project manager, helping us set everything up – which was important, since we’re quite a special group with different companies, internal cars, invoicing needs, and integrations with our bookkeeping systems.

Superoperator was the right choice

From the beginning, our impression of you was that you were very solution-oriented. We started with a few sites as POC, and we were really pleased with the results. Just when we were about to move on to the next step, our fuel partner decided to go in another direction, which forced us to evaluate that as well. But through that process, we became even more confident that Superoperator was the right choice for us – and that feeling has definitely lasted!

New payment features

Today, we offer both single washes and subscriptions. We also have Jetwashes, and together with Superoperator we’ve developed the Pay After Wash feature, where the customer only pays for the amount of time or water they actually use. In addition, we offer card payments and corporate invoicing through Scancloud, so our customers can choose whatever suits them best.

Digitalization has brought us so many advantages – not only the ability to offer subscriptions, but also much better business insights for us as concept owners and for our dealers. We can now see who our customers are, communicate with them more effectively, and analyze our performance in a whole new way. We’ve also seen significant growth in sales. The overall market is growing, and we’re growing even faster – and 2025 looks to become a record year in both growth and EBITDAR for our Tvätta dealers!

The best part, I would say, is the partnership itself – the willingness to find smart solutions that make our business better, and the fact that we can actually measure the results of our cooperation.

Overcoming obstacles

We’ve faced only a few obstacles, but the ones we’ve had were quite challenging. The biggest one has been uniting our network, since we involve multiple dealers with different approaches to Tvätta and to business development. It takes time, effort, and a lot of communication to get everyone aligned and invested. But now, finally, all our sites are connected to Superoperator – and our next challenge is to connect all the Jetwashes too!

Partnership means working and growing together

Our partnership with Superoperator is great. It truly feels like a two-way collaboration where both sides benefit and grow. From time to time, I think the response time could be a bit faster – but we’re working on that together.

Looking ahead, we plan to keep developing the business. We have many exciting projects and ideas in the pipeline, and we’re really looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together. We believe we are the chain that has come the furthest in digitalization and service development in the car wash industry. And we’re definitely not done yet!
