From the First Digital Car Wash to a Leading Industry Platform
Superoperator is all about helping car wash owners grow through digital technology. They create and provide car wash solutions as SaaS, linking car washes with drivers and virtual network providers.
Many great ideas come from everyday problems, and Superoperator is no different. The company’s CEO, Erkki Aminoff, was tired of waiting in long lines and dealing with the hassle before getting his car washed. He set out to eliminate the annoyances drivers face during the process, leading to what we now know as Superoperator.
In 2012, Aminoff and his team launched the world’s first digital car wash network, Juhlapesu, in Finland. This innovation allowed any car wash to use Superoperator’s technology and offer services through a mobile app. Thanks to automatic license plate recognition, drivers no longer need to leave their cars to get a wash.
