With Every Israeli Attack on Hezbollah More Media Misrepresentation

Author: Lance Winslow

The Israeli-Hezbollah war being fought in Lebanon is in its Fourth week of fighting and now the battle has moved to the regions near the Syrian-Lebanese Border on the Lebanon side, where Hezbollah is bringing in its supplies. On day 22 Hezbollah fired 230 Rockets sent into Northern Israel, which were supplied to them by Iran and funneled thru Syria.

In this forth week of fighting Israel now has some 10,000 Troops now inside Lebanon and the Arab World is blaming the United States for not telling Israel to stop fighting. The US insists that this is not their war and they have no say in what happens. Meanwhile as you may know the US Congress goes on vacation. We are hearing lots of political talk and a whole lot of media misrepresentation.

Recently Hezbollah said it shot down an F-16 and captured two pilots, but an F-16 only holds one pilot. On day twenty-two, Hezbollah claimed to have shot down an Israeli helicopter and forced the Israeli army to retreat. Nothing could be further from the truth. And yet for Hezbollah it does not matter, because once this news plays in the Arab World mass media, it does not even matter if the whole battle is fictitious, as they still get their brownie points and that is all the care about. Consider all this in 2006.
