It's unfortunate to see so many Christian people finding themselves living from paycheck to paycheck with unpaid bills lying around, bald tires on their cars, and zeros in their savings accounts. Not to mention their health and relationship problems. These things ought not be. Life happens to us all, and at some point in time we all experience a little displeasure now and then. But we should not accept such undesirable circumstances to continue in our lives. Particularly, as a child of God, we are to live in abundance and prosperity. John 10:10 tells us that Jesus died that we may have life and have life abundantly. The devil wants us to settle for the crumbs that fall from the table. Do not accept what the enemy wants for you! Jesus said in Luke 10:19, "You have been given power and authority over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm you." As Christians, we are children of the Most High God, set apart and made holy by the blood of the Lamb and "Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4). Our attitude should be, "I am a king's kid and I deserve the best! I am born again, adopted into the family of God, and joint-heirs with Christ. What is His, is mine (Rom 8:17, Gal 3:29), and I decide right now to commit myself to a better way of life." Insist that you will not live like a dog settling for the crumbs that fall from the table.
