What is the purpose of listening to news reports?

Well most would say it's to get informed on what is going on in the world. Such information is supposed to help us make decisions that help improve the quality of our lives correct?

What if I said to you that perhaps there's something that you've missed here which is actually very destructive to you and the rest of the human species? Would you have any sense of what that might be?

Well if you're confused it simply means that you're trying to "figure" out what this is with the use of you mind. Unfortunately you won't find an answer there. That is because the answer is only to be found in the feelings you have when you get those news reports that you so value.

If you notice those feelings I think you'll immediately recognize that you feel some or all of the following: sadness, helplessness, hopelessness, anxious, worried, fearful, vulnerable, desperate, paranoid, frustrated, and angry, like a victim or a potential victim and so on.

All good feelings, correct?

Not at all, but then you already knew that.

What is all of this doing to you? Well if you look at what is happening to;

1. Your stress level; it's going way up.

2. Your energy level; it's going way down.

3. Your mood; it's going way down.

4. Your sense of control over your life; it's going way down.

5. Your feelings of optimism; they're going way down.

6. Your desire to go on living; it's going way down.

7. And so on.

So you see how valuable those news reports are to you? What is the net effect of all of this at a personal level?

Well it's killing you!

Now what happens when an entire human population is carrying all these "thoughts" that you call the news and it's feeling all of this?

Well if you read my article "Some Evidence Of How We Are Spiritually Connected" in this ezine you will recognize that it is bringing the entire species down into a morass of death.

Is this what you want? I hope not, unless you've allowed yourself to be convinced by news sources that that's the only answer.

Well if that's the case I make a strong plea for you to wake up right now!

Come to your senses and ask yourself:

"What do I want living in my consciousness?"

The answer to this question has the power to shift the entire human and planetary consciousness.

So please don't diminish this simple task in your mind.

Please just do it and keep doing it.

As you do your view of those news reports will change and what is reported will also change.

You are a powerful Being. Please use your power wisely.
